Day One
After an early morning breakfast, drive eastwards to Jinja Uganda’s adventure capital. Spend the rest of the morning kayaking, bungee jumping and white water rafting on Nile River. Other activities include quad biking, horseback riding and boating. We then explore Jinja town in the afternoon. Take a boat to Samuka Island on Lake Victoria where we’ll have dinner and spend the night at Samuka Island Resort.

Day Two
Start the day with a lovely African breakfast then return to the mainland and proceed to Mbale; arriving in the afternoon. Lunch break at Mbale Resort Hotel. After lunch, explore the magnificent Sipi falls and adjoining areas. Overnight at Mbale Resort Hotel.

Day Three
After breakfast, we head out on a hike of Mount Elgon. The activity presents an exciting opportunity to encounter unique flora and fauna, magnificent waterfalls, enormous caves, scenic peaks, gorges and hot springs. In the afternoon, we drive to Soroti town making a stopover at Nyero Rock paintings, an early Iron Age site. Spend the night at Soroti Hotel.

Day Four
After breakfast, drive to Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Africa’s finest wilderness areas. Check into Apoka Safari Lodge then relax and take in the stillness of this remote and pristine place with the distant sounds of wildlife around you. Prepare for an amazing dinner and enjoy the African night

Day Five
After an early breakfast, we head out for a morning game drive through the Nauras valley where we will see massive herds of buffalo. Also expect to see lions, leopards, the elusive cheetah, zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, monkeys, jackals and several bird species. Return to Apoka Safari Lodge. Enjoy a delightful lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing. Later embark on a guided foot safari to the Karimojong communities. Meet and interact with these nomadic herders. Spend the night at Apoka Safari Lodge.

Day Six
Start the day with a lovely breakfast then drive to Murchison Falls National park via Kitgum and on through Gulu. We head straight to the top of Murchison Falls where the world’s longest river explodes through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43meters below. Proceed and check into Red Chilli Rest Camp and spend the rest of the evening enjoying the African sunset.

Day Seven
After breakfast, depart on a morning game drive across the savannah, along the Albert Delta. Expect to see lions, leopards, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, warthogs, giraffes, countless antelopes and many more. An afternoon cruise upstream the Nile is an unforgettable experience. On the banks, prolific wildlife including elephants, crocodiles, hippopotami, lions, giraffes, buffalos, antelopes and birds can be observed. Spend the night at Red Chilli Rest Camp.

Day Eight
An early morning drive to Kibale National Park making a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a rhino reintroduction and breeding project. Presently the sanctuary is home to 15 southern white rhinos. We then proceed to Kibale NP, home to a remarkable 13 primate species, including the red colobus and L’Hoest’s monkey. Kibale’s major attraction however is the opportunity to track habituated chimps. Spend the night at Primate Lodge.

Day Nine
Early morning trek for chimpanzees. Kibale is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps, a thick jungle with a towering canopy. In the afternoon, drive to the Congo border right under the Rwenzori Mountains, into the Semiliki National Park jungles. The new Semiliki National Park is lowland, dense forest, with exotic primates, hundreds of bird species and several mammals as well. Its location on the shore of Lake Albert provides excellent shoreline game viewing. Spend the night at Semiliki Safari Lodge.

Day Ten
Morning drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, sightseeing and game viewing enroute. This park is home to the famous tree-climbing lions. This evening, we explore the park on a game drive. Possible sights are; elephant, Cape buffalo, Uganda kob, lion, leopard and more. Overnight stay at Simba safari camp.

Day Eleven
Depart at 6:00am for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park aiming to catch the lions hunting in the morning. Lions usually hunt as the day dawns since the temperatures are cooler. We also expect to see the Uganda kob, elephants, buffalo, warthog, leopard and waterbuck. After the game drive, have lunch then enjoy a boat cruise on Kazinga channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Expect to see large numbers of buffalo and hippo. Dinner and overnight at Simba safari camp.

Day Twelve
Begin the day with breakfast, and then embark on a drive to Kyambura Gorge for a primate walk expecting to see chimpanzees, vervet monkey, olive baboon and black & white Columbus monkey. Continue south on a game drive to Ishasha and proceed to Bwindi impenetrable forest. Ishasha is mostly famous for its tree-climbing lions. On arrival at Bwindi, embark on a foot safari around the local communities living near the park. Opportunities abound to discover the local Bakiga and Batwa pygmy people. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma lodge.

Day Thirteen
After breakfast, prepare for the gorilla tracking adventure which begins at 8:00am with a briefing at the information center by the Uganda Wildlife Authority staff. We will then be guided into the jungle to track the shy primates. Gorilla tracking may take 3 to 7 hours but it is well worth the effort. It’s advisable to bring along a rain jacket, and hiking boots. At the end of this long and exciting adventure, return to our lodge for a well-deserved shower, dinner and rest. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma lodge.

Day Fourteen
Early morning drive to Lake Bunyonyi via Kabale a region popularly known by many as the ‘Switzerland of Africa’. This twisting water body dotted with 29 islands will amaze you. Embark on an evening boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi seeing its beautiful islands and the nearby hills and valleys. The lake’s altitude is 1,950 m, and it is surrounded by hills that are 2,200 to 2,478 m high and intensely cultivated. The data on the lake’s maximum depth varies, from 44 m to 900 m in some parts; Lake Bunyonyi probably is the second deepest lake in Africa. It is one of the few African lakes completely safe for swimming – there is no bilharzia. The temperature on the surface rises to 25 degrees Celsius. Spend the night at Bushara Island Camp.

Day Fifteen
The day begins with a delightful breakfast after which we return to the mainland and prepare to drive back to Entebbe. We make a lunch stop at Mbarara and proceed to Kampala making another stop at the Equator in Masaka for picture taking and souvenir shopping. Arrive in Kampala later that evening and transferred to Entebbe for your departure flight.
